Roofing Contractors in Lombard, IL

Proliance roofs Lombard houses and the flat roofs along the Butterfield Road corridor. Every job opens with a free written inspection, and our quotes are built to what the Village actually asks for.

What we roof in Lombard

Lombard names the shingle grade and the way it is fastened. That rules a few cheap bids out on its own.

House replacement

Nails only, never staples, and a shingle carrying at least a 25 year warranty. Lombard sets both. The cheapest three-tab on the shelf clears neither, so it never goes on our quotes.

Low-slope and porch roofs

The commercial belt on Butterfield Road and around Yorktown is mostly flat roofing. Those permits need a plan review with a written scope of work, then a final inspection. We write the scope and book the inspection.

Wind lift and hail bruising

Our inspectors are HAAG certified, the standard qualification for reading storm damage. We photograph the roof and write up what we find. On a disputed claim we work with Proliance Public Adjusting.

Ask for the inspection, it costs nothing

On a pitched roof Lombard leaves the final inspection optional, and most roofers never mention it. Ask for it. It is free, and it puts a Village record behind the work you paid for. We would rather you had that record than took our word for it. On a flat roof the final inspection is required, and we book it as standard.

Where our number differs from the cheap one

01

Valley membrane is already in our price

Lombard wants ice and water shield 18 inches each side of every valley, on top of the 24 inches inside the wall line. Out of town crews miss the valley rule constantly. On a cut-up roof that is several extra rolls, and ours are costed in.

02

We measure before anyone mentions a permit

The permit line here sits at 25 percent of the roof. Whether your storm damage lands above or below it is a matter of measurement, not opinion. We measure, put the figure in the written report, and you take that to your insurer.

03

Our file is with the Village first

Lombard will not issue a permit until the roofer’s state license and insurance are on file. A contractor starting that from scratch adds days to the front of your job. We get ours in early so the start date holds.
