What we work on
We handle four kinds of roof. Asphalt shingle is the most common on Chicagoland homes and the fastest to replace. Metal and standing seam last longer and shed snow well. Flat and low-slope systems cover most commercial buildings and some additions. Specialty roofs include cedar shake, slate and tile, which need different flashing and fixings than a shingle roof.

Storm damage and insurance claims
Hail and wind damage is often hard to see from the ground. Our inspectors are HAAG certified, which is the standard training for assessing storm damage on a roof. We document what we find in a written report you can give to your insurer.
We also work alongside Proliance Public Adjusting. A public adjuster represents you rather than the insurance company when a claim is disputed. That matters most when an adjuster and a contractor disagree about what the damage actually is.
How a Proliance roof job runs
A Production Specialist calls you to book the start date. We tell you when the material arrives and where it will sit, so you can move cars and clear access.
We notify the village, pull the permit where one is needed, and book inspections. A Quality Control Supervisor is on site through the job, not just at the end. Every crew is evaluated on every job.
Our certifications
Proliance is licensed and bonded in Illinois. Our inspectors hold HAAG certification for storm damage assessment. We are IKO certified installers, and members of the NRCA, the MRCA and the CRCA. Our crews are OSHA certified.
Ask any roofer for these in writing. A contractor who cannot produce a state licence number should not be on your roof.
